The Immigrant Welcome Centre is seeking a Conversation Group Facilitator for our in-person program in the Comox Valley/Courtenay area. REPORTS TO: Gaming Grant Program Coordinator CONTRACT LENGTH: April 10th, 2026, to Dec 15, 2026 (with the possibility of extension) WORK HOURS: 4-6 hours a month (two group meetings) WAGE: $32.00 $36.00 per hour, based on experience Position Summary The Conversation Group Facilitator plays a key role in creating a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive environment for newcomer participants. This position is responsible for preparing discussion topics and activities, facilitating group conversations, tracking attendance, directing volunteers as needed, and providing summary reports to the Gaming Grant Program Coordinator (Gaming Department).
