Avnan is on the hunt for a dynamic and passionate Electronics Engineering Technologist to join our team for a 4-month Coop (May to Aug 2026) contract. Reporting directly to our Engineering Manager, you will be involved in electronics repair and development. About you Our ideal candidate is a techsavvy individual with a knack for problemsolving and a passion for electronics. If you are currently pursuing a postsecondary degree or diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field, we want to hear from you! Qualifications Enrollment in a relevant engineering degree or diploma program. Basic knowledge of Altium Designer or Eagle Software for PCB designs and schematics is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Skills and Credentials Experience using digital/analog multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other lab equipment. Handson experience with measuring tools and testing equipment, including soldering tools. Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Working knowledge of computer software and hardware repairs. Familiarity with bills of materials, electronic components, and schematics. Responsibilities Electronics Repair: showcase your skills in soldering, desoldering, and assembling electronic products. Test Workstations: set up and operate test stations to ensure the highest quality of electronic boards. Diagnostics: perform indepth technical repairs and componentlevel diagnostics of electronic units. Assembly: install, mount, and adjust various parts, components, wiring, and harnesses using hand and small power tools. Component Research: assist in researching and sourcing components to address shortages. Issue Reporting: document and communicate recurring issues to the supervisor for continuous improvement. Product Development: contribute to product development, data management, and accurate recordkeeping. Technical Drawings: create and modify assembly drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design tools.
