Through our Resilience in Action initiative, we create trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and accessible digital tools that break down systemic barriers and foster safety, trust, and empowerment. Were seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Developer who will lead technical development, contribute to product strategy, and help shape the architecture of trauma-informed solutions that prioritize survivor safety, privacy, and dignity. What Youll Do - Design, deploy, and maintain reliable and scalable full-stack software solutions with a strong emphasis on security, performance, and usability. - Work closely with the VESTA team and the fractional development team to integrate solutions that are user-focused and culturally sensitive. - Monitor, test, and optimize application performance and security. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues as they arise. - Continuously enhance the platforms functionality to meet evolving user and project needs. What Were Looking For - 3+ years of experience as a full stack developer - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3. - Experience with front-end frameworks such as React JS and back-end frameworks like Node.js or Express. - Familiarity with database management systems: MySQL, MariaDB or similar. - Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Understanding of web security, authentication, and authorization best practices. - Strong grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and responsive design. - Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative, hands-on approach to teamwork. - Selfdirection, emotional intelligence, and crosscultural sensitivity. - Passion for technology for social impact and commitment to inclusive, ethical product development.
