Senior Environmental Technician Join to apply for the Senior Environmental Technician role at Englobe. Responsibilities Apply and promote Englobes health and safety policies and culture. Provide consulting services in conjunction with environmental site assessment and remediation of sites and excess soils management (80% field, 20% office). Supervise drilling and excavation activities, collect soil, groundwater and air samples, complete hydrogeological studies including aquifer response tests, mentor junior staff, and prepare technical reports. Work in collaboration with members of the Environment team throughout Ontario. Participate in planning meetings. Qualifications College or University Degree in Environmental Science/Geoscience or Engineering. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Good with tools and general repair and maintenance of field equipment. Able to work successfully in both alone worker or team setting. Strong communication skills, written and spoken. Outgoing and a team player. Willingness and ability to travel throughout Ontario. Working knowledge of the record of site condition (RSC) process and Excess Soil process in Ontario. Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety. Minimum of 5+ years experience in leading environmental field. Benefits Real flexibility.
