Emergency Care Service Central Toronto Veterinary and Referral & Emergency Clinic (CTVRC/EC) is seeking a dedicated RVT to join our Emergency Care Service. Anticipated Schedules Days, Evenings, & Overnights options available! 10-hour and 12-hour shifts Rotational weekends, most likely every other weekend Compensation $26 - $35 per hour based on experience & skill set $2 shift premium between 7 PM and 7 AM $2500 Sign on bonus What Youll Do Triage and Assess: Perform triage duties and document evaluations for animals with critical conditions, including shock, acute illness, trauma, and toxicity. Advanced Medical Procedures: Execute advanced procedures such as thoracentesis, ultrasounds, central line placement, epidurals, and more. Nursing Care: Provide topnotch nursing care to inhouse and outpatients, including TPRs, catheterization, wound management, and rehabilitation therapy. Surgical Support: Assist in fullscope surgery services from prep to postop recovery, ensuring the highest standards of care. Qualifications Graduation from an OAVTaccredited college program. Passed or in the process of writing the VTNE. OAVT membership in good standing. Collaborative clinical approach and excellent communication skills. Commitment to patient care, customer service, respect, and accountability. Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) required. Benefits OAVT annual dues reimbursement. Continued education support.
