Job Description

Support enterprise infrastructure including: Boarding pass printers Overview Our client is seeking an IT Systems Support Specialist to support both corporate IT infrastructure and specialized airport operational systems . This role ensures the stability and performance of technology platforms used across the airport environment, including passenger processing systems and internal enterprise systems. The successful candidate will provide handson technical support , maintain infrastructure components, troubleshoot operational issues, and assist with the deployment of new technologies supporting airport operations and internal teams. This position involves a mix of enduser support, infrastructure troubleshooting, and airport technology systems support . Key Responsibilities End User & Infrastructure Support Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, and user software in a Windowsbased enterprise environment Provide technical support to internal staff both remotely and onsite Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions (Active Directory) Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes Monitor system performance and analyze logs to proactively identify issues Network & Systems Administration Troubleshoot and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure Diagnose connectivity issues involving routers, switches, firewalls, and communication servers Airport Technology Systems Support enterprise infrastructure including: Windows Server environments Active Directory Exchange (onprem and cloud) Storage and backup systems VPN / remote access solutions Install and maintain airport passenger processing technologies, including: Boarding pass printers Baggage tag printers Commonuse kiosks Support airport operational systems, such as: Airport Operations Systems (AOS) Building Management Systems (BMS) Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) Public Address systems Telephony systems Parking systems Security and access control systems Assist with deployment and implementation of new technology solutions Support system upgrades and infrastructure improvements Maintain IT hardware/software inventory and licensing records Produce operational reports and maintain documentation Respond to help desk incidents and service requests in a timely manner Required Qualifications College diploma or university degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience Minimum 3+ years experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support Strong understanding of: Windows operating systems Active Directory administration Network troubleshooting Hardware and software diagnostics Enterprise IT environments Experience supporting servers, networking equipment, and enduser devices Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Nice to Have / Assets ITIL certification or familiarity with IT service management frameworks Experience supporting airport technologies or transportation infrastructure systems Exposure to building automation or operational technology systems Project coordination or project delivery experience Bilingualism (English / French) Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a handson IT professional who enjoys solving technical problems and working in a complex operational environment .
