Your JobKoch Fertilizer Canada, ULC is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to join the team as a Seasonal Maintenance Associate to contribute to the organizations value creation capabilities. This role offers a fast-paced working environment and opportunities for career development within our growing organization!Our TeamBased in Brandon, Manitoba, Koch Fertilizer Canada ULCs (KFCU) operations have been producing agricultural fertilizer products since 1967. We synthesize and blend nitrogen, phosphate and sulfur products with ammonia, which we market primarily in the prairie provinces of Canada and the northern United States. Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, we employ approximately 270 dedicated team members. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, successful applicants will be hired into this position at $23.34/hour. All overtime is paid at double time. The length of this position may extend up to nine (9) months; recurring terms as well as permanent employment opportunities are also available based on the value you create!What You Will DoLoading and Unloading: Handle materials and equipment, ensuring they are moved safely and efficiently.Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials.Site Preparation: Clean and prepare work sites, including setting up and taking down temporary structures.Tolerance to occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles and toxic/caustic chemicals with appropriate PPEMinor Carpentry:working with power tools such as Table saw, Skill saw, DrillsSome window and door replacement.Build winter hoarding for around pumps.Build lockers/tool storage for around the plant.Build forms for concrete repair on pump bases.Build crates to ship pumps and motors out for repair.Adhere to all in-place safety measures and proceduresAssist with general facility tasks, related duties and backfill other positions as requiredUtilize communication (verbal & written) and general computer skillDemonstrate initiative, with the ability to work independentlyDemonstrate strong problem-solving skillsAdhere to all in-place safety measures and procedures and have a general understanding of safety practices when working with hand and power tools.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)High school diploma or equivalent (ie.
