Job Description

Day to Day job Duties Work on a highly motivated, dynamic, strong development team implementing, supporting, and enhancing PeopleSoft FSCM (General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payables, Program Management, Purchasing, e-procurement, Expenses, Accounts Receivables, Billing, and Project Costing) Gather requirements and implement approval workflow using PeopleSoft AWE tool Document requirements and business process flows and functional designs Design, development, debugging, bug-fixing, & unit testing of the PeopleSoft application as well as work on Support (Incident acknowledgement, analysis, resolution, testing and closure) Interacting with business users, Functional leads & customers to understand and define requirements and participate in design & development. Independently lead module implementations and Support Conduct assessment and evaluation of reporting needs and make recommendations on reporting tools. Basic Qualifications Minimum 6-8 yrs PeopleSoft Development and Support experience Minimum 6-8 yrs People Tools (People code, App Engine, Workflow, SQR, Component Interfaces, App packages, Integration Broker, web services, Query, XML publisher, UNIX, Cobol and can write and understand complex SQL statements). Good Functional exposure (about 2-4 years) in FSCM (General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payables, Program Management, Purchasing, e-procurement, Cash Management, Customer Contracts, Expenses, Grants, Accounts Receivables, Billing, Supplier Portal, Inventory and Project Costing). Should be able to complete testing & reviews based on Functional & Technical designs. Good understanding of the Functionality of FSCM modules, process flow, key application (setup and transactional) tables and flow of data into the core FSCM tables. Must have experience working in a global delivery team (onshore and/or near-shore resources) as an Onshore/Offshore Co-Ordinator Ability to understand customer requirements, possess clarity of thought and communication and translate business requirements/issues to technical requirements and design Full understanding of the Software SDLC (systems development life-cycle) Knowledge in People Tools 8.60 or higher Experience reviewing PeopleSoft MP, bundles, patches, regulatory updates and applying fixes Strong analysis and problem-solving skills Bachelors in computer science or equivalent work experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
