The successful candidate must be eligible for a fulltime clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at the University of Toronto, with an academic position description of Clinician Teacher, Clinician Educator, or Clinician Investigator. The expected start date of the position is in the second half of 2026. The successful candidate will hold an MD degree and should have, or be eligible for, certification in Neurology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). The successful candidate will also have fellowship training in multiple sclerosis (MS) and will have or be working towards a graduate degree or other advanced training relevant to their area of specialization. The successful candidate will participate fully in relevant MS educational activities, including supervision of fellowship trainees at St. Michaels Hospital and the University of Toronto, collaborate in clinical research programs and quality improvement programs, participate in the neurology inpatient ward and consultation services, and provide oncall coverage. The successful candidate will report to the Head, Division of Neurology at St. Michaels Hospital, and clinic work in the Barlo MS clinic will be under the direction of the clinics Medical Director. Estimated remuneration will be determined primarily by clinical work, with potential for additional remuneration for leadership in academic or clinic activity. Responsibilities Support patient care demands in the MS program at St. Michaels Hospital. Participate fully in MS educational activities, including supervision of fellowship trainees. Collaborate in clinical research and quality improvement programs. Participate in neurology inpatient ward and consultation services. Provide oncall coverage.
