Position Summary: The Human Resources Generalist provides vital support to the HR department, assisting with a wide range of administrative and operational responsibilities. This role is essential in ensuring smooth HR processes, maintaining accurate employee records, and delivering excellent service to both employees and management. This role is based at Bothwell Cheese and requires regular travel to Alberta Cheese in Calgary. Key Responsibilities: Support two facilities including monthly travel to Calgary Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in the recruitment process by supporting interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and supporting onboarding procedures. Prepare and process HR documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, and benefit enrollment forms. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely and professional manner. Onsite presence, including daily walks through the manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and managing correspondence. Support various HR projects and initiatives. Support the Social Committee and assist with company events (Holiday parties, BBQs, etc.) Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in Human Resources, preferably 2 years in a manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently. High level of professionalism with integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and highly sensitive information at all times. Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision.
