From overseeing projects and programs of increasing complexity and scope to ensuring we deliver on our commitments, you will be responsible for various tasks that are key to our successes as an IT Operations team. What Our Project Manager Will Do Collaborate with project team members to develop a detailed project plan for an assigned body of work Construct the Work Breakdown Structure for a project Report status of plan, and track change controls, risks, and issues for that plan Maintain and monitor the execution of the project plan and/or assigned action plan(s) Provide inputs to Project Leadership on the financial and resourcing aspects of the plan Support the Project Team in the delivery of services to the customer, internal or external, managing customer inquiries and requests as assigned Identify, address, and bring issues to closure Initiate internal and external communication throughout defined project process via face-to-face meetings, teleconferencing and email Manage weekly project meetings and monthly status reporting including meeting preparations, scheduling, agenda preparation, content and presenter planning, documenting, and distributing minutes and action items, scheduling any follow-up sessions, etc. Assist in aligning IT Operations goals with defined business outcome Support the translation of technical proposals into project deliverables Assist in identifying and escalating technical roadblocks Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc. Other duties as assigned Who Were Looking For Perform the following skills at a proficient level: Analytical and critical thinking Written and oral English communication Time management including work planning, prioritization, and organization Ability to handle multiple priorities or tasks Self-starter and quick learner Detail-oriented Active listener Ability to collaborate and work autonomously Flexible and adaptable Work Breakdown Structure Project Schedule Project Statuses (Team & Exec) Project Estimation and Financials Project Staffing profiles Project Management documentation (scope, statement, charter, communication plan, etc) Proficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Project Visio or another diagramming tool Resource Allocation / Workflow Tool (examples: Clarity, SAP, PPM, Remedy, Jira, Salesforce, etc.) The System Knowledge for an IT Operations Project Manager includes these additional areas: SaaS vs IaaS vs PaaS IT Operations Change Management Systems Engineering Public Cloud (AWS, Azure) Private Cloud Cloud Cost Management Software SDLC Project Experience Singular project focus 500 3,000 hours Average team size 3-10 people Insurance Experience 1 year preferred; or. We share a career level salary as a guideline; however, actual salary may vary based on your experience and qualifications. Le futur Chef de projet dInsurity En tant que membre de l'quipe des oprations informatiques, vous rejoindrez un groupe de chefs de projet et de programme qui grent plusieurs projets, programmes et procdures oprationnelles utiliss par notre quipe. De la supervision de projets et de programmes de plus en plus complexes et tendus la garantie du respect de nos engagements, vous serez responsable de diverses tches essentielles la russite de notre quipe des oprations informatiques. Ce que notre Chef de projet fera Collaborer avec les membres de l'quipe de projet afin d'laborer un plan de projet dtaill pour un ensemble de tches assignes Construire la structure de rpartition du travail pour un projet Rendre compte de l'tat d'avancement du plan et suivre les contrles des changements, les risques et les problmes lis ce plan Maintenir et surveiller l'excution du plan de projet et/ou des plans d'action assigns Fournir des informations la direction du projet sur les aspects financiers et les ressources du plan Soutenir l'quipe de projet dans la prestation de services aux clients, internes ou externes, en grant les demandes et les requtes des clients selon les instructions Identifier, traiter et rsoudre les problmes Initier la communication interne et externe tout au long du processus dfini du projet par le biais de runions en face face, de tlconfrences et d'e-mails Grer les runions hebdomadaires du projet et les rapports d'tat mensuels, y compris la prparation des runions, la planification, la prparation de l'ordre du jour, la planification du contenu et des prsentateurs, la documentation et la distribution des procs-verbaux et des mesures prendre, la planification des sessions de suivi, etc. Aider aligner les objectifs des oprations informatiques sur les rsultats commerciaux dfinis Soutenir la traduction des propositions techniques en livrables de projet Aider identifier et signaler les obstacles techniques Se tenir au courant des tendances et des meilleures pratiques lies l'industrie et l'emploi, notamment en lisant les publications, articles, blogs, etc. pertinents.
