Amentum is seeking a Reliability Planning Analyst I to support our team of multi-skilled technicians in a manufacturing, warehouse/distribution, and office environment. The Reliability Planning Analyst I , is responsible for the effective execution of all maintenance work controls processes. The primary role is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination (scheduling) of labor, parts and material, tools and equipment, required permits, specialized documentation and equipment access. This position is empowered to manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and materials, define crafts and skills, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective and efficient work control plan. Responsibilities Upholds safety, health, and environmental procedures; communicates directly; and supports the EHS policies to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and Company and Site-Specific rules and regulations always. Acts as the principal liaison between the maintenance department and operation planning. Maximizes resources by identifying parts, materials, special tools, external services, rentals and documentation by establishing, maintaining and improving the maintenance planning and scheduling flow and process tasks. Receives and reviews all planned work orders from the requesting departments. Reviews and screens each work order to verify proper completion with all required information. Examines planned work orders and determines scope and best practices to accomplish work. Identifies work requiring engineering and design and reviews with proper entities. Escalates issues to the Reliability Manager for work that requires special tools, personnel or special approvals. Develops full scope and extent of work required, including cost and time required to conduct the relevant repair, preventive, predictive, and improvement maintenance activities of the plant equipment, buildings and grounds. Prepares job plans for scheduling, detailing parts, materials, special tools and external services and documentation with planned costs. Job plans to include the sequencing of associated tasks. Performs root cause analysis for continuous improvement. Initiates and implements best practices with emphasis on planning/scheduling the preventive and predictive maintenance work. Analyzes unplanned work orders and occurrences for incorporation into corrective and preventive actions. Ensures that all maintenance personnel understand the work instructions using a procedures-based maintenance strategy and best practices for all maintenance tasks. Ensures maintenance personnel update and close each work order when completed. Prepares reports, collects and analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance and operations related problems. Maximizes equipment reliability and availability through effective use of planned maintenance to quickly return equipment to design capacity and develops effective and applicable procedures to ensure defect free quality maintenance work. Develops maintenance work schedule for affected areas including PM, PDM and Service Work Orders (SWOs). Develops and adheres to prioritization of work tasks. Performs post job reviews to ensure actual work performed and post repair operation is satisfactory. Identifies and changes scope of PM or PDM (based on activity results) and SWO. Maintains the CMMS while managing and tracking work orders, backlog, and spare parts and creates a machine history of plant equipment and reallocates resources as required. Coordinates with Site Maintenance Manager and Operations to schedule workforce and resources for workforce and cost optimization. Develops a system of planned job packages for recurring tasks. Identifies, secures, and preplaces all parts and materials required to complete the work by providing stores with a Bill of Material for the work orders and kit of parts for maximum efficiency. Creates a critical spares list and procures or identifies sources for procurement to reduce lead times. Continuously improves, changes the job estimate, planning and scheduling process by utilizing feedback from maintenance team (PM optimization). Maintains accurate metrics on the performance of planning and scheduling functions and provides information for continuous improvement. Demonstrates a strong understanding of skilled crafts such as HVAC, Mechanics, Electrical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Plumbing, Pipe Fitting, Cranes, etc. Tracks performance metrics such as schedule compliance, PM compliance, mean time between failure, planning maintenance vs. reactive maintenance, backlog, etc. May be required to travel locally to other locations for support. Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree in a technical field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of Facility Planning experience. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in a CMMS such as Maximo, SAP, or an equivalent program. Preventive and/or Predictive maintenance planning experience. Ability to coordinate parts and assign the appropriate skilled labor to ensure successful completion. Ability to write processes and procedures related to facility maintenance work. Practical experience with continuous improvement techniques such as Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance, Six Sigma, 5S, Toyota Production Systems. Demonstrated understanding of an effective safety culture. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Demonstrated skills in organization and time management. Additional Information This position may require a valid state drivers license. This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our clients location. This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules. Some tasks will require the ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday. Requires ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. Requires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access databases, to send/receive messages and to prepare documents. Requires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other Amentum, customer and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations. Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings and presentations. Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line. Requires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations. Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. Special Requirements Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed. Agit comme principal agent de liaison entre le service de maintenance et la planification des oprations. Optimise les ressources en identifiant les pices, matriaux, outils spcialiss, services externes, locations et documents requis, tout en tablissant, maintenant et amliorant les processus et flux de planification et dordonnancement de la maintenance. Reoit et examine tous les bons de travail planifis provenant des services demandeurs. Vrifie que chaque bon de travail est correctement complt et contient toutes les informations requises. Analyse les bons de travail planifis afin de dterminer la porte et les meilleures pratiques pour lexcution des travaux. Identifie les travaux ncessitant de lingnierie ou de la conception et les examine avec les parties concernes. Escalade les enjeux au gestionnaire de la fiabilit lorsque les travaux ncessitent des outils spciaux, du personnel particulier ou des autorisations spciales. Dveloppe la porte complte des travaux requis, incluant les cots et le temps ncessaires pour effectuer les activits de maintenance corrective, prventive, prdictive et damlioration des quipements, btiments et terrains de lusine. Prpare des plans de travail pour lordonnancement, dtaillant les pices, matriaux, outils spcialiss, services externes et la documentation, incluant les cots planifis. Les plans doivent inclure la squence des tches associes. Effectue des analyses des causes fondamentales dans une optique damlioration continue. Initie et met en uvre les meilleures pratiques en mettant laccent sur la planification et lordonnancement des travaux de maintenance prventive et prdictive. Analyse les bons de travail non planifis et les vnements afin de les intgrer aux actions correctives et prventives. Sassure que tout le personnel de maintenance comprend les instructions de travail en utilisant une stratgie de maintenance base sur des procdures et des pratiques exemplaires. Sassure que le personnel de maintenance met jour et clture chaque bon de travail une fois termin. Prpare des rapports, recueille et analyse des donnes, et formule des recommandations afin damliorer les oprations de lusine et de rsoudre les problmes lis la maintenance et aux oprations. Maximise la fiabilit et la disponibilit des quipements grce lutilisation efficace de la maintenance planifie afin de remettre rapidement les quipements leur capacit de conception, et dveloppe des procdures efficaces pour garantir une maintenance de qualit sans dfaut. labore le calendrier des travaux de maintenance pour les zones concernes, incluant la maintenance prventive (PM), prdictive (PDM) et les ordres de service (SWO). labore et respecte les priorits des tches de travail. Effectue des revues post-travaux afin de sassurer que les travaux raliss et le fonctionnement aprs rparation sont satisfaisants. Identifie et modifie la porte des activits de PM ou PDM (selon les rsultats) ainsi que des SWO. Maintient le systme de GMAO (CMMS) en grant et en suivant les bons de travail, larrir et les pices de rechange, cre lhistorique des quipements de lusine et ralloue les ressources au besoin. Coordonne avec le gestionnaire de la maintenance du site et les oprations afin doptimiser la planification de la main-duvre et des ressources en termes de cots et defficacit. Dveloppe un systme de dossiers de travaux planifis pour les tches rcurrentes. Identifie, scurise et prpare lavance toutes les pices et matriaux requis pour complter les travaux en fournissant aux magasins une nomenclature (BOM) et des trousses de pices afin dassurer une efficacit maximale. Cre une liste de pices de rechange critiques et procde leur approvisionnement ou identifie des sources afin de rduire les dlais dobtention. Amliore continuellement les estimations de travaux ainsi que les processus de planification et dordonnancement en utilisant la rtroaction de lquipe de maintenance (optimisation PM). Maintient des indicateurs de performance prcis pour les fonctions de planification et dordonnancement et fournit des informations favorisant lamlioration continue. Dmontre une solide comprhension des mtiers spcialiss tels que le CVC (HVAC), la mcanique, llectricit, la pneumatique, lhydraulique, la plomberie, la tuyauterie, les ponts roulants, etc. Suit des indicateurs de performance tels que le respect des chanciers, la conformit PM, le temps moyen entre pannes, la maintenance planifie par rapport la maintenance ractive, larrir, etc. Peut tre tenu de se dplacer localement vers dautres sites pour offrir du soutien. Exigences minimales Baccalaurat dans un domaine technique ou combinaison quivalente dtudes et dexprience dmontre. Deux (2) annes dexprience en planification des installations. Qualifications privilgies Matrise dun systme de GMAO (CMMS) tel que Maximo, SAP ou un programme quivalent. Exprience en planification de la maintenance prventive et/ou prdictive. Capacit coordonner les pices et assigner la main-duvre qualifie approprie afin dassurer la russite des travaux. Capacit rdiger des processus et des procdures lis aux travaux de maintenance des installations. Exprience pratique des techniques damlioration continue telles que la fabrication allge (Lean), la maintenance productive totale (TPM), Six Sigma, 5S et le systme de production Toyota. Comprhension dmontre dune culture de scurit efficace. Excellentes aptitudes en communication verbale et crite. Matrise de Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint et Project. Capacit dassister des runions sur le site et de se dplacer occasionnellement vers dautres sites dAmentum, de clients ou de fournisseurs, ainsi que deffectuer certains dplacements ariens. Capacit de communiquer avec autrui au tlphone ainsi quen rencontres individuelles ou de groupe, runions et prsentations. Matrise dmontre de lutilisation de linformatique, incluant lensemble de la suite Microsoft. Capacit de dplacer des matriaux lgers moyens vers des bureaux, classeurs et autres espaces de rangement.
