Theatre Scrub Practitioner Day Case Surgery This is a fulltime, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with early and late shifts. MITU is a fastpaced daycase environment supporting a varied caseload across Ophthalmology, Plastics, Gynaecology and Urology. It is a great opportunity to work closely with experienced consultants and a wellestablished theatre team, delivering high quality patient care throughout the perioperative pathway. Main duties of the job The post holder will support the delivery of safe, highquality care in the Operating Department, with a particular focus on Urology, Gynaecology and ENT procedures. Working as part of the MITU teams, the Scrub Practitioner will prepare, manage and maintain surgical equipment, support the surgical team during procedures and uphold the highest standards of perioperative practice. The role involves direct patient care, quality improvement activities, mentorship of junior staff and active participation in service development.
