Join the dynamic Lassonde Snacks team based in British Columbia, reporting to the Director of Business Development and Marketing Snacks USA. This role focuses on both Trade and Consumer Marketing, supporting the expansion of the Apple & Eve brand into the fruit-based snacks category across US grocery channels. You will be instrumental in driving category and listing growth, leveraging your expertise in US retail channels including supermarkets, warehouse clubs, supercenters, natural & organic stores, and online platforms while staying ahead of consumer communication trends. Key activities Develop and implement trade strategies tailored to US grocery retailers and distribution partners. Provide channel support as a customer expert, including Costco, Sams and BJs Club channels. Coordinate demos with CDS specialists (Costco Demo Services). Support broker sales teams with tools, data, and insights. Liaise with Lassonde Pappas (LPC) to implement Apple & Eve branded opportunities. Shopper & Consumer Marketing: Execute shopper marketing initiatives at shelf level. Manage digital activations and social media campaigns. Monitor and optimize website performance. Oversee Instacart couponing and digital promotions. Organize marketing events such as NYC sampling activations. Collaborate with brand partners on co-branded initiatives (e.g., Minions, Subway food service sampling). Production & Packaging Development: Support product development for both private label and branded offerings. Assist in packaging development and the PDA/Blue proofing process. Act as procurement liaison for marketing-related materials. Promotions & POS: Plan and execute in-store promotions and merchandising efforts. Develop, order and manage point-of-sale (POS) materials. Budget & Performance Management: Manage trade marketing budgets to ensure ROI. Analyze channel performance using sales data and market trends. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams for product launches and marketing execution. Support Revenue Management and Category Management/Insights functions. Participate in trade shows such as PLMA. Required training and experience Bachelors degree in marketing, business management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of US marketing experience. Background in consumer products, ideally within the food & beverage industry. Experience in the US grocery channel with knowledge of key accounts. Skills sought Strong written, presentation, and communication skills. Collaborative mindset with ability to work across departments and regions. Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Creative thinker with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive for innovation and results. Specific condition to the position: Candidates must be available for travel in the US and internationally as part of their duties.
