BakeMark is a manufacturer and distributor with over 30 branches conveniently located across the U.S.Buyer Summary: Manage inventory of BakeMark USA Manufactured, commodities and general resale merchandise at assigned BakeMark location(s).Responsibilities:Maintain proper inventory by placing orders and transfers in a timely fashionExpedite product and proactively respond to new volumesAnalyze market trends in demand based on seasonality and/or historical dataBuy product by the forecasted needs and consider total costs including freightProfessional and immediate response to internal departments and external vendorsMeet company expectations for inventory turns and fill rateAccurately follow vendor procedures for purchase order placementProcess returns to vendorsComplete special projects as assigned by managementWork closely with vendors to get resultsKnowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies and proceduresSupport and communicate with Sales teamOther duties as assigned by managementQualifications:Experience in the food distribution industry is preferredAdministrative experience 1 year preferred.Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.BakeMark is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in hiring or employment, in accordance with the requirements of all applicable state and federal laws, on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry, disability, medical condition, age or any other basis prohibited by law.
