About the Role As a GCP AI Analyst, youll help design and deliver AI and Automation driven solutions that power ATCOs business initiatives. Working within our Cloud, AI, and Automation teams, youll build and support AI copilots, automation workflows, and machinelearning solutions in ATCOs Google Cloud environment. This is a handson role where youll collaborate with technical and business partners to turn ideas into secure, scalable solutions using services like BigQuery, Vertex AI, and generative AI tools. Youll be part of a growing AI and automation program, with opportunities to learn, experiment, and expand your skills as ATCO continues to invest in cloud innovation. What You Get to Do Design, build, and operate AI copilots, agents, ML solutions and automation solutions on Google Cloud, leveraging Vertex AI, Gemini, BigQuery, and modern AI patterns such as RAG and agent orchestration Deploy, scale, and support cloudnative services using Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and secure GCP networking and IAM best practices Integrate AI and Automation solutions with enterprise systems, data sources, and workflows to deliver businessdriven outcomes Partner with business, data, and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable AI and automation solutions aligned with enterprise architecture Monitor, optimize, and support production AI platforms, including participation in a 24x7 oncall rotation, using Cloud Monitoring and Logging Contribute to cloud solution design, technical standards, documentation, and architectural governance in collaboration with Cybersecurity, EA, and Design Authority Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging cloud AI technologies, optimizing cost and performance, and recommending efficiency and value opportunities Maintain knowledge of ATCO cloud IT solutions, service offerings and emerging technologies What You Bring Post-secondary education in Information Systems or a related field 2+ years of cloud platform experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); additional experience with Azure Cloud is considered an asset Google Cloud certification of Professional Machine Learning Engineer Hands on experience with Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, IAM Experience building AI agents, chatbots, or automation workflows Understanding of ML concepts such as model training, evaluation, and deployment Ability to troubleshoot cloud workloads and support production systems Experience with RAG pipelines and prompt engineering Working knowledge of CI/CD and MLOps practices Available for oncall rotational support Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with an innovative mindset and willingness to explore new technologies Ability to translate business processes into technical requirements to support successful cloud solution integration Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and work effectively with diverse teams Practical coding experience in Python and/or SQL is an asset Google Generative AI Leader Certification is an asset Professional Data Engineer and/or Professional Cloud Architect certification is an asset Experience with Vector databases, API integrations, and/or Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager) are considered assets What We Offer A culture based on caring, integrity, agility, collaboration, and striving for excellence Competitive compensation Flex benefits Tuition assistance program Training and mentorship programs Charitable donation matching We would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.
