Job details Location: Mississauga, ON L4W 5L6 Salary: 170,000 to 210,000 annually (to be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time Education: College, CEGEP or other nonuniversity certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years Experience 5 years or more Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Prepare prequalification submissions to present clients Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects Project cash flow and financing requirements Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms Utilize quantity take-off procedures Analyze tenders and recommend awards Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems Monitor and adjust contract expenditures Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates Prepare operations and project estimates, schedules and reports Computer and technology knowledge Database Spreadsheet MS Excel Type of experience Hard infrastructure Electricity construction Mechanical construction Commercial and/or industrial construction Institutional construction Residential construction Contractors $8,000,001 + Work conditions and physical capabilities Fastpaced environment Work under pressure Personal suitability Client focus Flexibility Organized Team player Proactive Leadership Bonus Pension plan Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Other benefits Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP) Free parking available Onsite recreation and activities Team building opportunities Parking available Who can apply for this job?
