This role is responsible for performing and overseeing complex paint protection film (PPF) installations on high-value and exotic vehicles, utilizing specialized techniques to achieve superior quality and efficiency. They develop custom approaches for unique and challenging projects, drive innovation in process improvements, and ensures all work meets the highest industry standards.Core Duties* Demonstrate expertise in advanced automotive protective product applications on complex vehicle geometries, delivering highest standards and craftsmanship.* Lead innovation by developing tailored techniques to address unique client requirements, conducting thorough quality audits of team installations, and leveraging advanced tools to enhance workflow efficiency.* Exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities by diagnosing challenging issuessuch as film misalignment on intricate vehicle geometriesperforming detailed repairs and sharing best practices with senior technicians to raise the team''''s overall performance.* Provide reliable support across diverse shop responsibilities, consistently demonstrating punctuality and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.* Mentor and work with other application specialists to increase capabilities and skillset.* Other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications* High school diploma or GED equivalent or local equivalent desired* 7 years of experience in application of automotive protective products (XPEL Preferred)* Certifications in one or more automotive services (tinting, ceramic coatings, PPF, colored PPF) from providers like XPEL or 3M.* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.* Strong hand-eye coordination and keen attention to detail.* Effective communication and mentoring abilities* Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform detailed tasks.* Valid drivers licenseDesired Qualifications* Certifications in one or more services (e.g., tinting and ceramic coatings) from recognized providers such as XPEL or 3M is preferredXPEL is an equal opportunity employer.
