As a Mutual Fund Associate, you will assist the mutual fund Wealth Advisor''''s with delivering exceptional member service through daytoday monitoring, maintenance and follow up of financial accounts, ensuring compliance with mutual fundcentered investment legislation, policies, and procedures. Specific Responsibilities: Support mutual fund Wealth Advisor''''s by maintaining appointment preparation, preparing correspondence, and processing documents associated with the sale of financial products and investment transactions Respond to member inquiries related to investment products/services and resolve member questions and concerns wherever possible, referring more complex issues to the Wealth Advisor or Manager, Investment Administration Followup on member documentation and/or transactions for proper maintenance of accounts Execute member requests for balances, account updates, and account closures Liaise with staff, other financial institutions, and/or other third parties for information sharing and/or information exchange Review applications and all applicable documentation for new accounts, updates to accounts, or transfers; identify inaccuracies and/or omissions, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and followup as required Process transactions for members, ensuring exceptional accuracy and efficiency at all times Generate, review, and distribute activity report Update and maintain reports for tracking and recordkeeping Maintain manual documents and digital files/records accurately and efficiently Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to policies and procedures associated with the credit union, Aviso Wealth, and the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) Support, provide backup relief, and/or train colleagues to develop and maintain a strong team dynamic Refer potential sales opportunities to the Wealth Advisor''''s or other specialists within the credit union Qualifications: Grade 12 diploma plus completion of the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) or equivalent course (or willingness to complete), plus 1 to 3 years of job related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Requires lifting (related to filing) on occasion (up to 20 pounds) Business acumen Basic understanding of investment strategies Working knowledge of investmentrelated regulatory environmentsSoftware proficiency (Dataphile, Excel) How we''''ll reward you You can look forward to joining an organization that values teamwork and its membership.
