About the role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Car Detail Team Lead to oversee the final stage of our vehicle production process, also known as the Last Mile Department . In this role, you will lead daily last-mile operations, manage the movement of completed vehicles from the assembly line to staging areas, and ensure vehicles are properly prepared for delivery to our clients while supporting team performance and operational efficiency. What youll do: Lead and coordinate the movement of vehicles within the production facility, ensuring efficient flow from assembly to staging Oversee final inspections and confirm vehicles are properly prepped for shipment, including any necessary adjustments, detailing, or cleaning Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and task prioritization for Last Mile Associates Monitor quality standards and resolve or elevate production or delivery issues as needed Collaborate with production, detailing, and shipping teams to meet delivery schedules and customer deadlines Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, safety, and efficiency What were looking for: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in vehicle detailing, inspection, quality control, automotive production, or logistics Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or team coordination experience Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills Minimum G2 License with a clean drivers record Post-secondary education preferred Ability to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including overtime based on business needs Other items to note: Communication: Provide clear, professional updates to team members and management Problem Resolution/Analysis: Identify, troubleshoot, and elevate operational or quality issues Customer Service: Ensure every vehicle meets Clutchs delivery-ready quality standards Team Leadership: Balance handson operational work with coaching and team support Working Conditions: Onsite role in a production facility Itd be great if you have: Previous experience leading teams in automotive production, detailing, or logistics environments Familiarity with quality control processes and vehicle inspections Experience driving process improvements or operational efficiencies Why youll love it at Clutch: Autonomy & ownership opportunity to lead processes and influence vehicle production workflow Help shape the future of car buying and selling in Canada by ensuring every vehicle meets Clutchs high standards Meaningful leadership responsibility during a phase of rapid growth Competitive compensation and above-market health & dental benefits Employment Type: Existing, Permanent Full-Time Wage: $22.00$25.00 per hour (based on experience) Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare, dental, vision, prescription, life insurance, and dependent coverage starting from day one Pay decisions reflect objective criteria including skills, performance, market benchmarking, responsibilities, and working conditions Clutch is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where all individuals have an opportunity to succeed.
