We are seeking a Procurement Manager specializing in Biological Materials to support strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives within a global life sciences environment. This role sits within an Indirect Procurement Delivery function and is responsible for end-to-end procurement activities including category management, sourcing execution, supplier engagement, and contracting. The position requires strong collaboration with internal stakeholders across R&D, commercial, and operational teams. Key Responsibilities: Act as a subject matter expert in Biological Materials procurement, including biospecimens, biobanking, clinical trial supplies, and laboratory services Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business needs and market dynamics Lead sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and contract execution with global suppliers Perform market analysis, supplier evaluation, and cost optimization initiatives Partner with internal stakeholders to translate demand into procurement strategies and solutions Drive supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives Support development of procurement content, automation, and digital buying channels Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards (GCP, GLP, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field 5+ years of procurement experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation Exposure to biological materials, clinical supplies, or lab services procurement Knowledge of R&D regulatory frameworks (GCP, GLP, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) Experience with procurement systems and digital tools Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and project management skills Business-level English proficiency
