We are looking for candidates with strong technical expertise to fill this role. Below are the details of the position: Industry: IT Job Title: Manager, Customer Strategy and Growth Mode of Job: Hybrid Locations: Toronto Contract: 24 months Schedule: M-F, core business hours 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day Overview We are seeking a strategic, analytically driven growth leader to define and execute segment strategy for a high-priority customer portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, with full accountability for driving measurable business outcomes across acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Segments, you will lead end-to-end strategy development and execution for the New to Canada segment, positioning the organization as the financial partner of choice early in the customer lifecycle. This is not a traditional marketing roleit is a business growth and strategy mandate suited for candidates with consulting, strategy, or enterprise transformation backgrounds. Core Responsibilities: Own and deliver segment strategy across: Customer acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and share-of-wallet Define and execute go-to-market strategies and large-scale growth initiatives Identify and scale strategic partnerships to expand reach and improve conversion Translate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data into actionable strategies Partner with Analytics and Marketing to: Identify growth drivers Optimize conversion and product adoption Develop customer-centric value propositions aligned with business profitability Build and present executive-ready business cases and strategic narratives Lead cross-functional execution across Product, Marketing, Channels, and Frontline teams Drive initiatives from concept to scalable delivery with measurable impact Continuously monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities to refine strategy Champion a customer-first approach while maintaining strong commercial discipline Core Technical Skills Required: 78 years of experience in: Strategy, management consulting, business transformation, or growth roles Experience in banking, fintech, or customer-centric industries Strong expertise in: Customer segmentation Customer economics & lifetime value Performance analytics Advanced quantitative and problem-solving skills Proven ability to: Translate data into strategic decisions Execute complex, cross-functional initiatives Experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority Strong experience building go-to-market and growth strategies Preferred: Experience in Retail Banking or New-to-Country / newcomer segments Exposure to partnership strategy and ecosystem development Experience scaling enterprise-level growth initiatives Masters degree (MBA preferred) Nice to Have: Experience in digital banking or fintech ecosystems Familiarity with product lifecycle management Exposure to customer journey design and optimization frameworks Soft Skills: Strategic thinking with strong execution bias Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills Executive communication and storytelling Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity Strong collaboration and leadership mindset Results-driven with high accountability Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
