The Role We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee daytoday operations on active construction sites. Youll coordinate trades, ensure safety protocols are followed, keep the schedule on track, and uphold the quality expectations the company is known for. This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, and confident in leading subcontractors and field teams from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Lead onsite activities and ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans Coordinate trades, suppliers, equipment, and inspections Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, inspectors, and authorities Review drawings to identify issues early and maintain project momentum Conduct site orientations, toolbox talks, and regular safety checks Monitor schedule milestones and communicate progress with the project team Manage site documentation including daily logs, safety reports, and deficiency tracking Verify all work meets project specifications and code requirements Support field staff with leadership, coaching, and technical guidance Maintain a clean, organized, professional job site Assist in continuous improvement of site processes and construction execution Required Experience & Skills 5+ years experience as a Site Superintendent in commercial or light industrial construction Strong understanding of construction sequencing, building codes, and safety regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar platforms is an asset Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to anticipate issues before they escalate Ability to navigate active construction sites, including moving materials up to 50 lbs and working on uneven terrain A problemsolver who thrives in environments where accountability and followthrough matter Who This Role Suits Youll be successful here if youre someone who: Takes pride in delivering clean, wellorganized sites Enjoys working with a team that values efficiency and straightforward communication Navigates challenges with a solutionsfocused mindset Wants to work with a GC that empowers its leaders rather than slows them down
