Proposal Specialist/ Business Development WriterAre you a talented writer with a knack for turning complex ideas into compelling narratives? We're on the lookout for a Proposal Writer to take the reins in crafting persuasive pitch, proposal, and credentialing materials. Elevating our clients brand and help them in secure exciting new business opportunities.In this role you will be involved in multiple stages of managing projects from looking at the initial opportunity, managing the process, planning, strategizing, drafting responses, finalizing submissions. You will work with all levels of the organization collaborating and researching.Key Responsibilities:Lead meetings and contribute to strategy sessions.Provide insightful background and draw on past successes for guidance.Steer proposals from initiation to delivery, ensuring all necessary steps are covered.Define submission timelines and workback schedules using top-notch project management tools.Keep our department libraries up-to-date and foster clear communication with stakeholders.Dive into research to tailor submissions for prospective clients.Develop innovative approaches for proposals, presentations, and credentials.Weave your magic into compelling content, adapting and customizing material for maximum impact.Collaborate closely with Marketing & Business Development colleagues to gather essential information.Be the last line of defense, editing and proofreading to ensure perfection.Guarantee consistency with branding guidelines and uphold firm standards.Oversee online submissions and coordinate hard copy deliveries when needed.Be the backbone of proposal activity tracking, ensuring follow-ups are timely and reports are comprehensive.Conduct insightful debriefs with internal and external stakeholders.Continuously refine and update content based on new insights and opportunities.Attributes & Experience:Hold a post-secondary degree or bring equivalent experience to the table.Boast a rich background with 3 years of experience in proposal writing, writing communications or research.Command proficiency in the MS Office suite.Exhibit stellar interpersonal and communication skills.Display exceptional organizational prowess and time management skills.Shine as a team player who can also thrive independently.Showcase your ability to juggle and excel at managing multiple client needs simultaneously.Possess a strategic mindset coupled with an impeccable eye for detail.Navigate confidential information with tact and discretion.Approach challenges with a determined, can-do, hands-on attitude.Embrace flexibility and are open to putting in extra effort when required.If you are ready to take your writing career to the next level with a leading organization, apply now by sending your resume with attention to Laura Jackson at I really look forward to hearing from you, but please understand that I will only be contacting those that are applicable for the role!
