Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Millwright. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the scope of this position involves the responsibility of safe and efficient operation and repairs of all plant equipment, as well as the maintenance of the plant infrastructure. This position is responsible for leading and supporting the maintenance staff with a special focus on continuously improving processes and efficiencies. The successful candidate will ensure that machinery and mechanical equipment run smoothly and efficiently. QualificationsSkills in Preventive Maintenance, Maintenance & RepairExperience in Troubleshooting mechanical issuesProficiency with Power Tools and Hand ToolsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and remotelyRelevant technical diplomas or certifications are a plusRed Seal qualifiedGraduate of Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright program or equivalent experience.Knowledge of CNC machinery and equipment.Some knowledge of PLC controls an asset.Able to weld with gas and electrode an asset and use a MIG WelderAble to work independently with minimal supervision.
