Position Responsibilities Assist the marketing group in a variety of data and modeling related tasks Work with the optimization, lease, scheduling, settlement and quality groups to help efficiently manage the data flow of crude oil receipts and deliveries in Western Canada Look into new and emerging technologies to help field and Calgary staff generate quality results in a more timely and accurate manner Work with various members of the team building physical and financial models Provide support with quality data gathering and management for marketing assets Work with analytics to generate pricing information Work with settlement on communicating the above information to generate invoices Ad hoc analysis as required Skills and Qualifications Working towards a Commerce Degree (preferably Finance); Will also consider candidates with Economics, Computer Science or Mathematics degree in progress. Preferably going into 3rd/4th/final year of university Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel) skills required AI, Machine Learning and Linear Programming/Convex Optimization skills considered an asset Experience building financial models considered an asset Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability Understanding of the fundamental principles of economic, financial and risk analysis Strong business aptitude and an understanding of the crude oil and NGL business Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline driven work environment that requires accuracy and a keen attention to detail We thank all interested candidates; however, only qualified candidates will be contacted, please submit your cover letter and resume on our Careers page. #J-18808-Ljbffr
