Overview: CAM Industrial Solutions, one of the largest and fastest-growing privately held industrial services companies in Canada and the United States, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our high-performing Payroll team. Visit us at Summary: Reporting to the Manager, Payroll, the Co-op Student will support payroll operations by assisting with wage table updates, data validation, and administrative tasks. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with large data sets in a structured environment. This is a 34 month, fully remote position. Key Responsibilities: Update Excel spreadsheets with new wage table values. Reconcile spreadsheets against system-generated data to identify discrepancies, including missing or duplicate entries. Input and maintain accurate data in accordance with established guidelines. Ensure accuracy and consistency of payroll data across systems. Provide administrative and data support to the payroll team as needed. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive payroll information. Qualifications: Completion of at least one year of post-secondary education in Accounting, Payroll, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with strong data entry capabilities. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
