Corporate Administrative Assistant - Legal: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Corporate Administrative Assistant - Legal for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our clients Toronto office. Corporate Administrative Assistant - Legal - Job Description: The Corporate Administrative Assistant - Legal will support the Legal Department by handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role involves managing schedules, organizing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures. The assistant will also facilitate communication and information flow within the department and with external partners. Corporate Administrative Assistant - Legal - Responsibilities: Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including answering phones, filing, and making copies Review and proofread documents and correspondence for legal compliance and grammatical accuracy Schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences for team members Set up and maintain filing systems, handling confidential materials and documents Open and distribute incoming mail and coordinate information flow internally and externally Establish and improve workflows and administrative procedures Identify and resolve urgent issues, escalating when necessary Support electronic filing and file tracking systems Maintain calendars and manage legal documents Conduct background research on special projects as assigned Attend meetings or conferences to take notes and minutes Assist with submitting expense claims and perform other office work as required Corporate Administrative Assistant - Legal - Mandatory Skills: Undergraduate Degree or equivalent education and experience College Diploma in a law-related discipline or extensive administrative experience 3+ years of experience in a complex office environment Experience as a legal assistant providing administrative support Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to manage a large volume of files and conflicting priorities High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality Corporate Administrative Assistant - Legal Nice-to-Have Skills: Previous experience working as a paralegal Experience in a highly confidential executive-level environment Resourceful and creative problem-solving skills Ability to appreciate diverse points of view Genuine customer service orientation Corporate Administrative Assistant - Legal - Assignment Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
