Were seeking a hands-on Director of People & Culture Americas [LB1]to lead the regional people agenda and support the continued scaling of the business. This is a key leadership role where your impact on our people and culture will be clearly seen and valued. About the Role The Director of People Americas will lead the regional People & Culture function, supporting the continued growth and scaling of the business. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role partners closely with leaders to build strong teams, enable performance and foster a positive workplace culture. Based in Vermont, you will play a key role in aligning regional people practices with global frameworks while ensuring local compliance and effective people support. This is a hands-on leadership role where your impact will be felt across the region. Key Responsibilities Lead the People function, delivering HR strategy aligned to global frameworks that supports organisational performance, growth and culture. Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning and organisational capability, ensuring the business has the structure, talent and capability to achieve its goals. Provide expert employee relations leadership, managing complex people matters and offering trusted HR advice to leaders. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements, maintaining strong governance, policies and HR best practice. Oversee end-to-end recruitment and support organisational growth, including involvement in M&A due diligence and post-acquisition people integration. About You You are an experienced and pragmatic HR leader who enjoys partnering with leaders in a growing, fast-moving business. You bring a balanced approach of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, with strong knowledge of employment practices in the Americas. You are confident navigating employee relations, supporting leaders and implementing people frameworks that enable business success. Most importantly, you are passionate about building strong teams and positive workplace cultures. You will bring: Significant experience in a senior HR / People leadership role Strong knowledge of employment relations and compliance in the Americas Proven ability to partner effectively with senior leaders Experience implementing or operating within global people frameworks Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience) Life at Hewitt Join Hewitt Foods USA and shape the future.
