Trainer (Part-time) Reporting to the General Manager, Thunder Bay, the Part-time Trainer will administer various training programs offered by NORCAT. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate the delivery of health and safety programs. Courses include but are not limited to: Heavy Equipment Operation Working at Heights Surface Miner Common Core Train the Trainer Participate in the development and continuous improvement of current and new training material Other duties as required. Requirements / Qualifications: Experience operating heavy equipment in either surface, underground mining, forestry, construction and/or industrial operations. Strong leadership, multi-tasking and communication skills Strong presentation skills Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Travel within Ontario is required Assets (Preferred but not required): Certificate in a Train the Trainer program Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Ability to travel within Canada and internationally Experience in facilitation/training in adult education Bilingualism.
