Job Description Posted Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 4:00 a.m. About the Role The Accounting Clerk plays a key role in supporting fullcycle accounting activities and ensure financial transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. This person will assist with monthend and yearend procedures, account reconciliations, and daily accounting operations. The role also provides support for government filings, and other financial reporting needs as required. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and support monthend and yearend reporting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. - Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies. - Perform monthly reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts. - Balance Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. - Prepare bank deposits and ensure timely cheque deposits. - File government and regulatory reports including HST and WSIB. - Remit payroll taxes and WSIB payments on time. - Assist with cash applications, inventory reporting, and finance projects. Qualifications & Experience - College diploma in accounting or a related field. - 57 years of experience in an accounting role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles. - Experience with accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with Infor Visual is considered an asset. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. - Manufacturing experience is an asset. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to prioritize under tight deadlines. - Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. - Strong mathematical and data entry skills.
