Job Description

As the Staff Accountant for Linxus Group, you will be responsible for daily accounting functions including payroll for all divisions of Linxus Group. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FRAMEWORK Month-close procedures and preparing accurate and timely financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis. Responsible for all financial reporting and statutory tax matters, including technical accounting analyses, year-end audit preparation and corporate tax filings. Perform cash management duties, ensuring accounts receivables are collected, payments to vendors are released, and routinely forecasting the company's cash position. Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities Producing monthly Aged Debtor Reports Preparation and processing of weekly payroll. Execute journal entries, forms, and monthly payroll remittances Maintain detailed records and documentation of payroll records Preparation of weekly payroll reports Assists in T4 preparation and year end payroll reporting requirements Reviewing credit applications and references Setting credit limits Receipting, allocation, and reconciliation of payments to customers accounts Highlight problem customers to all relevant stakeholders Resolving client queries and issues Reviewing credit applications and references Setting credit limits Receipting, allocation, and reconciliation of payments to customers accounts Highlight problem customers to all relevant stakeholders Qualifications and Education Requirements College Diploma in accounting 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in a commercial/sales environment Experience in Recruitment Industry would be an asset Intermediate to advanced skills with QuickBooks, ADP and MS Excel Effective organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal) Preferred Skills Strong written and verbal communicator.
