An accounting designation is not required. Role Summary: The Engagement Processor supports the preparation and management of yearend financial reporting files, thereby playing a key role in ensuring the quality of our deliverables to clients while also maintaining the accuracy of related templates and data. This role works closely with the team to ensure processes run effectively and provides administrative support to assist with office operations as needed. Primary Responsibilities (Core Role Approximately 80-90%): Oversee content of all our Caseware and iFirm Taxprep yearend packages Maintain the integrity of the Caseview financial statement (including financial statement notes) and iFirm Taxprep templates Input client trial balance data Print all final financial statements Roll forward data and manage database Secondary Responsibilities (Administrative Support Approximately 10-20%): Answer and screen incoming calls, greet visitors/clients, call clients for pick up of personal documents. Open, sort and distribute incoming mail, manage incoming/outgoing courier shipments. Process daily bank deposits, monitor and maintain office petty cash. Enter vendor invoices to accounting software and process weekly cheque run. Onboard/create new client files and maintain their client contact card information. Order office supplies, maintain and monitor staff calendars and meeting rooms. Manage retrieval and return of offsite storage boxes. Assist and complete other tasks as requested. Requirements: An administration background with working knowledge of Caseware / Caseview (or other financial statement preparation solutions) and iFirm Taxprep (or other income tax preparation solutions) accounting software is preferred, as is past experience in a public accounting firm. Ability to adapt to new software. Familiarity with QuickBooks, Sage and Microsoft Office are an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a high level of organization and a strong orientation to detail while upholding confidentiality. Professional and courteous customer service/administrative/receptionist experience. Ability to remain calm under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Reliability with a positive outlook and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment. Why Should You Apply?
