We hire skilled tradespeople who value safety, quality, and career growth.Instrument ManagerRole SummaryWe are seeking a Instrument Manager to serve as the main point of contact for our clients and crews, ensuring full execution of construction and maintenance projects from conception through completion.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, guidance, direction, support, technical insight, and feedback to our Instrumentation field staff.Assist Area Manager in daily activities, such as managing all aspects of branch operations that include but not limited to employees, scheduling, efficiency, cost control, preventative maintenance, revenue opportunities and inventory levels.Develop and implement new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve branch performance.Monitor branch performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary.Required to visit active worksites a minimum of twice per month to discuss safety and work practices displaying visible safety leadership.Responsible for appropriate staff levels to meet requirements of the branch.Responsible for recruitment, hiring, terminations and performance management.Develop and manage business relationships and customer contacts.Manage the morale in the branch by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers, and customers.Enhance and develop processes and practices to meet the goals of the department.Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality service in the branch to exceed customer expectations.Assist with budget preparation.Monitor financial performance to ensure the branch is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitment.Analyzes and reports on the branch's key performance indicators and industry/market trends.Develop and implement strategies around improving the financial performance of the branch.Analyze employee and customer concerns and present options to solve their issues.Monitor key business areas.Review and use the monthly financial statements to ensure expense control and proactively plan service and sales goals.Performs other duties as required.Qualifications / RequirementsMinimum of five (5) years in a management or senior supervisory role.Journeyperson Instrument Technician.Advanced knowledge of the industry and company operations required.Excellent management, negotiating and organizational skills.
