Join us and be a key part of a high-performing team driving impactful change!Learn more at You Will Be Doing?Ensures fulfillment of H&S requirements at construction site, following health and safety (H&S) plan in compliance with Company standards, customer requirements and Government regulations;Assists in preparation of weekly and monthly statistics H&S reports;Provides assistance in the implementation and update of the health & safety planProvides assistance in identification of risks and definition of control measures (through safe work procedure, Job Safety Analysis);Carries out and records regular safety checks and safety inspections;Provides assistance in Tool-box talks;Coordinates safety committee;Records and investigates accidents and incidents; performs Root Cause Analysis on H&S issues;Coordinates health & safety aspects of site activities;Provides induction training and site-specific health & safety training;Coordinates required safety training on site;Assists in coordination First Aid rescue, First Aid responders and Fire Protection programs;Proposes immediate correction of H&S deficiencies; checks if H&S corrections from deficiencies are effective;Assists in ensuring ISO 45001 and COR programs are maintained at site;Supports execution of internal audits in construction sites and facilities and coordinates external audits;Coordinates with Workers Compensation as required;What We Are Looking For?Proven experience as H&S Senior AdvisorMust have NCSO or Post-Secondary in Health and Safety and five years of H&S related field experience, experience in Rail and Track works preferred.Valid qualifications in occupational health and safetyMust be knowledgeable of H&S Management Systems such as ISO 45001and COR certification programs.Must have a strong understanding of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulation and implementation in a construction environment.Must be proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).Must have strong organization and record keeping skillsMust have an uninhibited ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, reach and graspMust have a Valid Class G Driver's LicenseExpected CompensationSuccessful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between $80,000.00 CAD - $120,000.00 CAD.
