Summary Hecla Mining Company is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Analyst to support the supply chain operations at our Keno Hill site in the Yukon. This role will play a key part in supporting the procurement team during the implementation of our new IFS Cloud ERP system and the rollout of updated corporate procurement policies. Initially, the position will focus on procurement execution, supplier coordination, and RFQ management to support site operations. As the system and processes mature, the role will evolve to focus on logistics optimization, contract management, and costsaving initiatives across the supply chain. About Us The Keno Hill mine, located within the Keno Hill Silver District in Canadas Yukon Territory, is one of the highestgrade silver districts in the world, situated 350 kilometres north of Whitehorse, and lies within the traditional territory of the First Nation of NaChoNyakDun. It covers 242 square kilometres (km) with numerous mineral deposits and more than 35 historical pastproducing mine sites. Keno Hill is expected to produce ~3.0 million ounces of silver in 2026 as the mine ramps up production. The mine is owned and operated by Hecla Mining Company, headquartered in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. What You Can Expect In This Role Efficiently and effectively manage the purchasing cycle from needs assessment and RFQ through to invoicing. Negotiate competitive pricing as well as terms and conditions with vendors considering commercial and technical aspects. Generate comprehensive purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services and communicate in a timely and professional manner to all key stakeholders as required. Proactively monitor open purchase orders ensuring deliverables are met and actively communicate updates to key stakeholders. Review supplier performance and track purchasing savings. Coordinate with vendors and logistics companies the timely shipment of priority orders to site in order to meet operational requirements. Investigate and resolve purchase order and invoicing discrepancies. Coach and mentor other employees regarding supply chain systems, policies and procedures. Manage key supplier relationships. Engage in supply chain continuous improvement. Practice and promote company environmental, health, safety, and operational policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications / Skills Minimum 35 years of related experience in purchasing, procurement, contracts and/or inventory management. Postsecondary education in commerce, business administration or a related field. Related professional supply chain certification (CSCP, SCMP) an asset. Advanced computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems (eMaint, IFS) as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others. Ability to function well in a highpaced and at times stressful environment. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Preemployment Requirements Preemployment testing (drug & alcohol, blood lead, and audiogram). Valid Class5 drivers license. Clean drivers abstract. Work Environment and Job Schedule This is a MondayFriday remote based position working from home with occasional travel to site. At site employees will be frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, snow conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat, potentially hazardous wildlife; moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives and vibration. The noise level in most work environments is occasionally loud.
