Position Overview We are seeking a Project Coordinator to assist with the coordination of Mental Health and Substance Use projects at Michael Garron Hospital and East Toronto Health Partners Ontario Health Team (ETHP OHT). Reporting to the Director, Mental Health and Substance Use with dotted line reporting to the Sr. Project Manager, the Project Coordinator provides administrative support including booking and scheduling, coordinating resources, communication, project tracking, reporting to funders and preparing presentations. The coordinator also supports the development and execution of project and initiative evaluation plans, reports, and dashboards through regular data collection, validation, analysis and reporting and visualization. This position is a contract position until April4,2027 with possible extension. The deliverables and responsibilities of this role will continuously evolve to match the Integrated Care and Mental Health and Substance Use strategic priorities. Education Bachelors degree in health administration, business administration, or engineering preferred. Masters in health administration or industrial engineering considered a strong asset. Degree or certification in data science or analytics considered a strong asset. Degree or certification in project management considered a strong asset. Qualifications A minimum of 1year related coordination experience with diverse stakeholders. Understanding local health issues, priorities and needs, while recognizing the broader trends in health care policy and system development. Background or experience in the field of mental health and substance use. Experience in data collection, analysis and visualization. Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Power BI and understanding of programming languages (i.e., Python). Strong organizational awareness and knowledge of organizational structures and functions. Effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Results oriented with high attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated superior problemsolving, judgment and critical thinking skills. Knowledge and experience in project coordination or management. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
