About The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Charter Specialist plays a key role in supporting daily transit operations. The Charter Specialist must have a strong understanding of administrative processes and demonstrate the ability to work across multiple computer platforms, including internal reporting tools, and scheduling software. This position is well-suited for a highly organized, adaptable individual who thrives in a fastpaced operational setting and enjoys balancing customer service with operational problemsolving. Primary Responsibilities Provide ongoing customer service and operational support to drivers, acting as a central point of communication to resolve servicerelated issues efficiently. Coordinate charter bookings and respond to customer inquiries by preparing accurate quotes, scheduling vehicles and drivers, confirming service details and invoicing. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager to support the smooth operation of daily transportation services. Requirements High school diploma or equivalentpostsecondary education is considered an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other standard software tools used for reporting, scheduling, and communication. Clear and current criminal record check. Demonstrated excellence in customer service, with the ability to remain calm, courteous, and solutionfocused in highpressure or timesensitive situations. Professional and courteous telephone manner, with strong verbal communication skills and the ability to relay information clearly and accurately. Welldeveloped organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities with attention to detail. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and interact professionally with clients, staff, and external partners.
