Job Summary The IT Support Associate is responsible for supporting Gold Leaf Financial Groups technology infrastructure and ensuring employees have reliable, secure, and efficient access to the systems and tools they need to perform their roles. This position plays a key role in day-to-day IT operations, including user support, system administration, hardware and software management, cybersecurity practices, and ongoing technology improvements across all divisions. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, service-oriented, and comfortable supporting a growing, multi-division organization. Key Responsibilities Technology & Systems Support Provide day-to-day IT support across all departments, ensuring reliable operation of business systems and tools. Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems, and business software. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and business disruption. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, cloud environments, and email systems to ensure performance and security. Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Google Workspace environments. Support core business platforms including CRM systems and other enterprise applications. Stay current with platform updates and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency. Employee Support & Training Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT support requests. Lead IT onboarding for new employees, including device setup, system access, and security protocols. Develop and deliver training or documentation to improve staff proficiency with internal systems and tools. Act as a trusted internal resource, helping teams use technology effectively and securely. Security & Compliance Ensure all IT systems comply with Gold Leafs security standards, data protection policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with cybersecurity best practices, including access controls, device security, and user awareness. Monitor systems for potential security risks or unauthorized access and escalate issues as required. Follow established procedures when addressing incidents related to cybersecurity or compliance. Inventory & Resource Management Manage IT hardware inventory including computers, peripherals, and mobile devices. Track software licenses and subscriptions to ensure compliance and cost efficiency. Assist with IT asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, and replacement planning. Support budgeting and planning related to IT infrastructure and technology needs. Data, Reporting & Internal Systems Support internal reporting tools and dashboards related to system usage and performance. Assist in maintaining accurate system documentation and IT procedures. Support internal communications related to system updates, outages, or changes. Continuous Improvement Stay informed about emerging technologies, security threats, and IT best practices. Research and recommend new tools or system improvements to enhance productivity and operational resilience. Pursue ongoing professional development in IT support, systems administration, and cybersecurity. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an IT support or systems administration role. Technical Expertise Strong working knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and common business software. Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD, and cloud-based systems. Familiarity with networking fundamentals, device management, and troubleshooting methodologies. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently in a professional environment. Soft Skills & Collaboration Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
