We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Manager to become the cornerstone of our client and vendor experience. This is a handson role for a natural leader who thrives in a fastpaced environment. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients from the initial inquiry through the flawless execution of their event. You will be responsible for managing all event logistics, cultivating strong vendor relationships, and leading our small, dedicated onsite team to ensure every event exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities Client Management & Sales (40%) Serve as the main client liaison for all events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings. Conduct compelling venue tours and presentations to secure new business. Manage the entire event lifecycle: creating detailed proposals, negotiating contracts, and securing deposits. Guide clients through the planning process, offering expert advice on layout, timeline, and vendor selection. Conduct final planning meetings to confirm all event details and ensure client confidence. Event Planning & Logistics (30%) Develop and manage detailed event timelines, floor plans, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Coordinate all logistical aspects, including room setup, audiovisual requirements, catering, and rentals. Serve as the onsite project manager during events, ensuring all elements align with the clients vision and the venues standards. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise before, during, or after an event. Vendor & Team Leadership (30%) Cultivate and maintain strong, professional relationships with a preferred network of vendors, caterers, and contractors. Lead, schedule, and motivate a small team of event staff and setup crew. Conduct preevent briefings with all staff and vendors to ensure seamless communication and execution. Uphold and enforce all venue policies, safety standards, and health codes. Required Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of proven experience in event management, preferably within a hotel, event venue, or catering company. A strong portfolio of successfully executed weddings is highly desirable. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Superb organizational and project management abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure. Proficiency with CRM software, venue management software and Microsoft Office. Flexibility to work a nontraditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the event calendar. What We Offer A competitive salary.
