Job Title: PeopleSoft Financials Developer Location: Toronto, ON Hybrid Contract Role Role Description The PeopleSoft Financials Developer will be responsible for delivering highquality technical solutions within the General Ledger (GL) module of PeopleSoft Financials. This role requires deep expertise in PeopleTools, strong functional knowledge of GL processes, and handson development experience across multiple PeopleSoft technical components. The developer will collaborate closely with business users, analysts, and technical teams to enhance, support, and integrate PeopleSoft Financials systems. General Ledger Expertise Extensive handson PeopleTools and PeopleCode development experience specifically within the GL Module. Strong functional experience with core GL processes, including: Journal Creation Journal Processing Multicurrency Allocations Period Closing Consolidations & Equitization Technical Skills Strong expertise with key PeopleSoft technical tools, including: Page Design PeopleCode Application Engine (AE) SQR BI Publisher Application Packages Integration Broker nVision Handson experience working with PeopleSoft Financials upgrade tools and PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager)highly preferred. Skilled in collaborating with crossfunctional teams to refine business requirements and deliver complete technical solutions. Proficient in creating highquality Design Documents and Technical Design Documents (TDDs). Experience with Fluid development, including use of Tiles and Homepages. Strong experience developing and troubleshooting nVision and BI Publisher reports. Experience working with the latest PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Financials application versions. Proven ability to perform endtoend system integrations, including external interface configuration and testing. Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and data issue resolution. Expertise in integrating with thirdparty applications using web services. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently and effectively. Experience using change control tools such as PHIRE, STAT, or similar. Additional experience across Oracle PeopleSoft Financials Core modules: AP, AR, GL. Broader understanding of financial business processes and crossmodule integrations. Ability to mentor junior developers and support peer code reviews.
