Position Overview Join us as Operational Quality Assurance Technician, and youll be looking at a careerdefining role based in the Greater Toronto Area (ON), CA. Job Summary The Operational Quality Assurance (OQA) Technician supports the Services Sites in implementing, managing and improving all qualityrelevant elements, such as product quality requirements, process preparation, inprocess control, feedback/feedforward and quality process management. They support the Sites in the adherence to the ISO Quality Plan, ensure quality and optimize the problemsolving process. Quality control and inspection activities are supported according to the defined process. The final inspection of equipment prior to it entering service is a key OQA activity. In addition, the OQA Technician is responsible for auditing functions, statistical controls, analysis and quality planning, organizing, coordinating and completing program audits to ensure the program meets established criteria. Temporary contract: 12 months. Key Responsibilities Supporting operations and supporting departments and functions in the adherence to the ISO Quality Plan. Quality control and inspection activities, identification of recurring and systematic problems, initiating problemsolving processes, supporting the feedback process and integration of lessons learnt into causing functions. Process governance: ISO 9001 adherence all documentation updating, auditing result compilation and continuous improvement of the program. Final inspection program of equipment prior to entering passenger service. Drive and support quality improvement initiatives and activities in Operations, integrating related departments and functions that affect operations. Support effective problem solving by leading and conducting problemsolving processes, using structured problemsolving methods. Required Profile Typically 35 years experience in a relevant role. Very good knowledge and experience of quality standards and quality checks. Very good knowledge of our products and their acceptance criteria. Very good knowledge and experience of Q6 standards and elements, especially feedback/feedforward processes, quality gates, problem solving. Drive and conduct problemsolving processes using structured problemsolving methods. Knowledge of PDCA, Lean. Specialized or crossfunctional knowledge/relevant experience required by the position/role. Close collaboration with methods, the maintenance areas and continuous improvement. Experience with internal auditing and overall quality systems. Computerliterate (MS Office). Salary range: $80,000$90,000.
