Find our story here: About Meridian The role: In this role, you will design and architect robust software solutions with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and longterm maintainability. You will write clean, wellstructured code across webbased, cloudbased, and multidimensional data applications, while also leveraging lowcode and nocode platforms where appropriate to accelerate delivery and enable rapid solution development. Your work will be supported by thorough unit testing to ensure quality and reliability, along with clear documentation, including meaningful code comments, technical documentation, and userfacing materials that support ongoing use and supportability. You will contribute to the evolution of programming, lowcode, and system integration standards, collaborating closely with other developers to promote consistent, highquality engineering practices across both traditional and lowcode solutions. This includes integrating thirdparty software and platform services seamlessly into existing applications and infrastructure, ensuring solutions remain secure, scalable, and aligned with architectural standards. Within applications, you will design and implement complex features, maintain and enhance existing components, resolve defects, optimize performance and resource utilization, and ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements. Collaboration is central to this role. You will provide input into project deliverables, including effort estimates and cost considerations, and work closely with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to determine the most effective implementation approach, balancing custom development with lowcode or nocode solutions where they deliver the greatest value. You will actively participate in project planning, sprint reviews, and other agile ceremonies, helping to ensure solutions are welldesigned, realistically planned, and successfully delivered. Ensure adherence to regulatory and audit requirements. Project Collaboration Provide input on project deliverables, including time estimates and cost assessments. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders. Participate in project planning and sprint reviews. Wed Love to Work with You If You Have the following skills and abilities: Minimum of 4-5 years of application development experience in corporate environment Degree or diploma in computer science or related field with emphasis on Web development A strong knowledge of software development processes, analysis, design, tools and techniques Experience with relational database systems Experience building RESTful APIs using .NET Core for building connected, service-oriented applications Experience in building frontend application using Angular and SASS A strong understanding of financial tools and the banking sector is a definite asset Knowledge of SOA and n-Tier architecture. Salary Range: CAD $68,800 $103,200 annually Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the roles requirements may be placed higher within the range.
