Marie, ON Position Title: Production Manager/Foreperson (NOC 72014) Job Summary Dream Stairs and Railings is looking for a skilled Production Manager to create budgets and to supervise all trades and services needed to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to design specifications for client projects. The Production Manager will also need to collaborate closely with architects, structural, and mechanical engineers to coordinate all phases of construction and installation. The Production Manager will specifically coordinate crews, schedule work, resolve operational issues, manage materials and workflow, report progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and meets client standards. Duties & Responsibilities Interpret architectural drawings and technical plans for prefabricated products Mandate, instruct and supervise additional needed construction trades Supervise production staff and coordinate fabrication, finishing, and installation Schedule and oversee installation crews and external service providers Establish production methods, procedures, and work schedules Resolve workflow issues and improve efficiency and quality Train staff in duties, safety, and company policies Manage inventory, logistics, and international coordination, including German partners Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure design and quality standards Participate in hiring and personnel decisions Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal quality standards Experience & Skills Masters certification in a trade and business administration Working at heights and WHMIS certification Managerial experience in a manufacturing environment 5+ years of experience in a trade Knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with German machinery and tools Experience implementing lean manufacturing practicesAbility to lead teams effectively Employment Type: Full-time, permanent, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week Language of Work: English Wage: $34.10/hour Location: Sault Ste.
