Role Overview Work with our Southern Ontario team and be supported by a National network of talented professionals Assist businesses and individuals with a wide range of tax, financial and succession planning services Be part of a unique work culture that challenges you to further your professional development and enrich your chosen career path Be a well-respected professional, part of a team building a very successful business delivering highly valued solutions to clients Develop solutions with clients and co-workers through collaborative effort and creative discussion Be closely engaged with and serve clients on a wide variety of local, national and international projects Key Responsibilities Work closely with clients and the engagement team to develop exceptional tax planning ideas and solutions to achieve our clients business objectives Be a leader in the management and development of our growing tax practice Assist clients to manage their income tax planning, implementation and compliance requirements including complex Private Business corporate, personal, and trust matters Identify, develop and pursue new opportunities for assisting clients with value added-on tax services Provide exceptional client service Stay attuned and respond to new legislation, interpretations and market factors that impact our clients Coach and mentor professional staff Prepare and present information to clients, colleagues and other professionals Qualifications Youve completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program, or have a Masters of Taxation degree Substantive expertise with the tax-related aspects of succession, trust and estate matters gained as one element of providing corporate and personal tax planning and compliance services to privately held businesses Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service Ability to develop, present and apply new ideas, creative approaches and innovative solutions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong interest in coaching and development, with a commitment to personal growth Commitment to excellence in product quality and attention to detail A team player able to rally resources and work with others to meet the needs of the client Benefits Profit sharing Flex days RRSP contributions Firmwide holiday closure Wellness benefits Concierge-like benefits Work from anywhere in Canada in the summer for 4 weeks and more! We benchmark regularly across a wide spectrum of roles, industries, sectors, and levels to ensure our ranges are both competitive and current . But we dont stop there. We also consider the unique strengths, experiences, and impact each individual brings to the table. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity . To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $128,000$178,000 in Mississauga, ON. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
