Known for its seafood offerings and unique ambiance, it provides a distinctive blend of history, excellent food, and a welcoming atmosphere. The Wine Bar offers a more casual setting, ideal for enjoying drinks or dining on the patio. Role Description The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of The Five Fishermen Restaurant & Little Fish Wine Bar ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests and a workplace that fosters excellence. Responsibilities include managing staff, maintaining inventory, overseeing budgetary and financial planning, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and implementing marketing and sales strategies. The General Manager is also responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns, and setting a positive tone for the team. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Halifax, NS. Qualifications Proven leadership, team management, and training skills - 5+ years experience as a Restaurant General Manager Experience with budget planning, financial management, and inventory control Strong understanding of food service operations and health and safety regulations Customer service and conflict-resolution skills Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in restaurant management software and related tools Prior experience in hospitality or food and beverage management A high level of professionalism and problem-solving abilities Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Post-secondary education in business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
