Job Title: Product Compliance Program Manager Duration: 6 Months Job Type: Temporary Assignment Location: Markham, Ontario, CAN Work Type: Onsite Payrate:$ 65.00 - 65.00/hr. The company also produces flash memories, graphics processors, motherboard chip sets, and a variety of components used in consumer electronics goods. Job description: Contractor to lead product compliance workstream, including the planning, verification, and required deliverables for the successful launch of AMD Commercial product onto the US market. The contractor will have a limited timeframe to evaluate the current product compliance plan, make necessary adjustments, and negotiate directly with our ODM and internal AMD teams, requiring the ability to start immediately. The consultant will have access to AMD product compliance subject matter experts but is expected to possess extensive experience in launching desktop products in the United States. Deliverables include confirming the completion of all required certifications, registrations, and documentation, and ultimately providing a recommendation to AMD executive leadership that the product is ready to ship (RTS). Deliverables: Compliance readiness checklist with the ODM and Reseller Weekly progress and health reports to AMD team Completeness assessments of compliance documentation including certifications, documentation and labeling Competencies: Expertise in desktop compliance launches across key regulatory domains, including Energy Efficiency; Substance Restrictions and Disclosures; Safety; Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC); Wireless; Cybersecurity and Privacy Compliance; Product Labeling and Barcodes; and On Shelf Requirements Experience and willingness to work quickly with Asia based team as well as with Americas based AMD teams.
