This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits package.Duties & Responsibilities: * Perform automotive repairs and maintenance primarily at our Elmsdale shop. * Assist with inspections and participate in our preventative maintenance program. * Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. * Utilize computer-based maintenance and work order programs. * Ensure high standards of organization, attention to detail, and commitment to health and safety. Experience & Qualifications: * Preferred Experience: * Red Seal Automotive Mechanic * Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and pressure systems. * Experience with truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment (e.g., aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes) is an asset. * Education: * AEC/DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate in mechanics, electronics, electrical, or hydraulic systems (preferred). * Canadian Utility Fleet Council (CUFC) Certification is a plus (increases wage scale). * Licence: * Class 3 Drivers License (preferred). * Skills & Attributes: * Proven track record in a similar industry. * Strong commitment to quality, customer service, and satisfaction. * Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
