**Job Title: Refrigeration Technician** **Job Description** As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be inspecting equipment, gathering necessary materials, and preparing isometric drawings before starting work. You will be involved in planning lines and routings, installing pipes, conducting pressure tests, system charging, and performing refrigeration system evacuation and dehydration. Additionally, you will engage in commissioning work such as checking rooftop units, pumps with VFDs, boiler startup checks, static pressure, and controls. When not engaged in refrigeration or commissioning tasks, you will work as a master installer in plumbing or sheet metal trades. **Responsibilities** Review FLHAs and tasks for the day. Complete EWP lift and safety equipment inspections. Gather materials and start work. Provide isometric drawings before starting. Plan lines and routings. Install pipes and complete pressure tests. Perform system charging, refrigeration system evacuation, and dehydration. Conduct additional commissioning work (e.g., rooftop units, pumps with VFDs, boiler startup checks, static pressure, and controls). Work as a master installer in plumbing or sheet metal trades when required. **Essential Skills** Refrigeration installation experience (Apprentice or Journeyman). Journeyman Plumber or Sheet Metal (5+ years) with an interest in refrigeration. 3+ years'''' experience in new construction and/or retrofit work in commercial or institutional settings. CSTS, EWP, and Fall Protection certifications. Basic electrical knowledge (use of voltmeter, clamp meter, voltage checks, and instrumentation controls). Experience with planning, scheduling, and isometric drawings. Driver''''s license with a clean driving abstract. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Ozone depletion certification. Medical gas experience (brazing). Controls/instrumentation knowledge.
