This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits package.Duties & Responsibilities: Perform automotive repairs and maintenance primarily at our Elmsdale shop. Assist with inspections and participate in our preventative maintenance program. Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Utilize computer-based maintenance and work order programs. Ensure high standards of organization, attention to detail, and commitment to health and safety. Experience & Qualifications: Preferred Experience: Red Seal Automotive Mechanic Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and pressure systems. Experience with truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment (e.g., aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes) is an asset. Education: AEC/DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate in mechanics, electronics, electrical, or hydraulic systems (preferred). Canadian Utility Fleet Council (CUFC) Certification is a plus (increases wage scale). Licence: Class 3 Driver''s License (preferred). Skills & Attributes: Proven track record in a similar industry. Strong commitment to quality, customer service, and satisfaction. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
